Safety of publish to web option

How safe is it to use the publish to web option (assuming the data used in the report doesn't violate any privacy laws):

- Can the published report be hacked or use as an open port to access the other reports published to the same workspace?

- Can the published report be used to access the data sources used in the report: Eg: SharePoint?

The risk would be if sensitive data is displayed in your report and its publish to web url/link is available with someone.
