SSMS Error Expanding tables

We have setup a fully functional DWH in test and dev with a number of tables. On creation of PROD though we are unable to expand tables within the SSMS  enviroment. Tables are all available within Fabric but for querying ect also better to use SSMS

has anyone else had issues moving through enviroments and come across this issue?

I found that the various SSMS versions all behave very differently. Newer versions are not necesssarily better.  What's yours?
