Hi
We have configured Ent Gateway link
But SSAS server list is empty link
perhaps SSAS source is in another place..
And the second question - If I am right, we can use two ways to publish SSAS data to PowerBI web site:
- Using gateway
- Using PowerBI Desktop (to create PBIX file with conection to SSAS ) and OneDrive (put here PBIX file). Then open in PowerBI Site OneDrive source this file.
Both this ways allow using SSAS with PowerBI and always get current data with high speed. Am I right in this?
The SSAS Source Connected using the Enterprise Gateway do not show up in the Analysis Service Data base list on the PBI service yet , should start showing up there soon . When you publish a report using SSAS live connection from the PBI desktop it will use the connection in the Ent gateway . Once those connections start showing up on the service we should be able to create reports on it directly on the PBI service .
Not clear on the Ondrive question that you raised . You could publish PBI desktop file directly to the PBI service and it would always get the current data .
Regards,
Mitsu
