SQL Configuration error

Hi,

I am using direct query for some reports. I have already installed gateway. but visuals are not showing in power bi services. There is no error  in desktop side.

 

Attached error I am getting in Power bi service. Pls give suggestion asap.

    Hi there

    When you sent up the details did you set it up with Single Sign On (SSO)

    This means that each user has go have rights to the database?

    If not did you test the data source to make sure that it could access the database with a Windows Authenticated account?

    You can check the logs in the data gateway to see what is actually being passed in terms of username. Depending on your AD setup you might need to remap users if your UPN differs from the on-prem naming or it could be related to how the database is setup in terms of authentication, but if it works in desktop with your own user it should work.

     

    There is a few steps in setting up the gateway that needs to be in order for AD authentication to work, so also check what accounts the gateway service is running as......
