SCALING OF CHARTS IN POWERBI WEBSITE DASHBOARD
Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum and a starter in learning powerBI. Recently, I have an issue with the charts and tables that I pinned to the dashboard always having tendency to shrink back or auto-scale down everytime I tried to drag them to make them bigger as shown in the image below. Every I refreshed the page, they shrink down automatically.
Is there anyone know why the charts or tables just auto change the size? Is there any way for us to fix the size of the visuals and stop them from auto-scaling when refreshing the page?
Thank you very much.

Hi, DuyDoan
According to your description, the size of the visual objects in the Dashboard changes after refreshing, in my testing, this did not happen, can you provide the pbix file that can simulate the problem without sensitive data and the steps to create the dashboard would help me to further determine why this is happening. Due to the responsive design principles utilized by Power BI, direct control over the fixed size of visual objects on the Power BI Services dashboard is limited.
However, there are several strategies you can employ to mitigate this problem:
1. If you are displaying several visual objects that can be created in the same data, you can use Power BI Service's Pin live feature, which allows you to more precisely control the size and layout of the visual objects. Once you are satisfied with the layout, you can Pin live the report to the Dashboard. This method doesn't completely prevent scaling, but it helps maintain a more consistent layout.
2. Consider the grid layout. When arranging visual objects on the Dashboard, try to align them with the grid layout. Snapping visual objects to the grid helps keep the size consistent relative to other visual objects on the dashboard. I noticed that the width of the visual object before and after you zoom in and out is not the same as the width of the visual object above it. You can try modifying the width of the visual object above it to make the two consistent.
3. Export to PDF for consistency, if you are primarily concerned with maintaining a consistent visual presentation for sharing or demonstrating, consider exporting the dashboard or report to PDF. this method preserves the layout and size of the visual objects.
