Hi Team,

Hope you are doing well!

data source -  SAP datasphere

We are unable to refresh the data in Power BI service. While refreshing the report we are getting  below error.

Error:
Unable to determine the data source due to unknown functions. When custom connectors are used, the error can happen if gateway doesn't have the extension enabled. Details: Query contains unknown function name: SapDataWarehouseCloudConnector.Contents

In Power BI Desktop we are able to refresh the data.

We are not able to find the options - Gateway and cloud connections ;Data source credentials in settings.

We have made  test  report to check whether options are appearing or not for other report. Its not visible in that as well.

Could you please help us here.

For automatic update, you need to set scheduled refresh in semantic model settings, you can refer to the official documentation below.

We can manually refresh the data but its not updating automatically in Power BI service.

What tenant are you located in? Currently tenants located in Central US region may encounter issues while interacting with the service .If your tenants are also located in the Central US region, then you need to wait for the engineer to make progress.

If not, then please provide more information for reference. For example , can your other data sources be refreshed normally?
