Row level Security for 400 groups

Hi!

 
I hope you can help me out. I need to establish a row level security involving 400 groups with around 5 users each. My RLS should be based on their groupings as the users logs in. My question is, do I have to make 400 rls roles to make this happen? Do you have any other suggestions how to efficiently do this? (users are mostly external)

    Hi. It will depend on the security you want to apply. If the security it's just about one column in a table with different values it can be done with one rol. However it will might be different if each of those groups have weird logics behind that.
    Just to help you think in a different way check this post that builds a dynamic RLS that will be handle by an excel sheet after configuring only one time Power Bi.
