Hi,
In my dataset I have a decimal values.
In one page of the report users require a table that displays the the decimal. However on another page the users require these decimal values rounded to whole numbers. As both visuals are standard table the only way i can see to do this is by creating a duplicate measure and setting the field to be a whole number.
Is there any alternative to aviod duplicating measures?

You don't have to create duplicate measure.
Under Format pane you could change the field formatting.

Try to define measure with decimal formating and then play with format pane of your visuals.
It will work see below.
yes you cna change in a Card but not in a table as far as I can see, meaning having to duplicate the measure
Yes if you need to use a table you need to format each measure
