Retrieving Metrics on all Power BI Workspaces and Reports/Dashboards in the Company
Hello,
We are trying to get a list/report showing all the Workspaces and Reports in our company. We would like it to include metrics on how often the workspaces/reports are used, the last time they were accessed and their owners.
Is it possible to get a report or output showing this for Power BI?
Thank you!
Hi , Neka
According to your description, you want to see the report opened usage, you can try to use the Usage Metrics if it can meet your need.
For this , you can refer to :
Announcing: Improved report usage metrics in modern workspaces | Microsoft Power BI Blog | Microsoft Power BIMonitor usage metrics in workspaces (preview) - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
And you can see the report usage in it and you can also do some custom in it by saving a copy:

Hi , Neka
Based on my research and test, the Power BI audit logs can help you get the expected output that shows the activity logs for all the Workspaces and Reports within your company, if you are the global/Power BI admin of your company, you can access it in the Power BI admin portal:
In the Power BI audit logs search page, you can click on the filter selections to select the search time range you expected and the Power BI activities related to "Opening reports" to get the search result and the list/table you expected:
Please feel free to refer to this official document:

Thank you for your time and sharing, and thank you for your support and understanding of PowerBI!

Thank you Aniya for your response. I didn't know about these audit logs so it was good to find out about them. I am not sure they will work for our needs as we are focused more on finding a list of unused reports so that we can remove them. Not sure if it's posssible to find a list of reports and when they were opened last?
