I have a Power BI report that shows data in the aggregate for a project with 350+ components. I want to share the report with several stakeholders, although each stakeholder should only be able to access data for their respective component. As the report owner, I can filter by component, but I only want stakeholders to see their data and not others. Any ideas?

Hi @mimiles,
Yes, it is possible to enable dynamic RLS at other datasource.
Sample:
1. Create a user table which use to store the user name.
Measure:
Current User = USERNAME()
2. Create a role based on username function which used to dynamic filter on current user.

Is there any way to enable dynamic RLS without using a SQL database? I have data feeding from xlsx and json files, on my hard drive as well as via O365 online.
