Restrict import to service options
Hi,
In Power BI BYOK documentation, it is mentioned that BYOK based encryption is applied only to the data uploaded from Power BI desktop (PBIX) file. Excel and csv files uploaded to the service are not encrypted with your own key.
So is there any possibility to put a control in the service that users can upload content only via desktop files and not by any other means?

Are you trying to restrict uploading excel and csv file to power bi service? I'm afraid there is no approach to restrict it now. I suggest you create an idea for it in https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas to improve the power bi.
