Whether the setting of data source in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service? Please refer the method in the following links, hope they can help you resolve the problem.

    v-msft-pazhenThank you for your response, the problem was also small, I was trying to connect to the localhost but when I connected to the live API it worked fine.
