We are embedding these reports in a web application using the app-owns-data method. Is it possible to automatically change the content direction from left-to-right (LTR) to right-to-left (RTL) when Arabic is selected as the language?Thank you!

Hi ashi7upt,Currently, there does not seem to be an option to show the Matrix Visual Righ-to-left. Also, you can vote for this feature to be included in Matrix Visual on Power BI Ideas site. Thanks for posting your query in micrsoft fabric community forum.

it seems like your trying to translate your powerbi report in arabic for your users in GCC countries. But as for now powerbi desktop doesn't support right-to-left languages like arabic. For reference, please go through the below link :

If still you want to translate your report in Arabic, there are couple of ways to do it :

You can use PowerBi Service which supports rigth-to-left languages like Arabic. Here is official Microsoft link for reference

  This is helpful, but it doesn't solve my main issue, which is shifting the direction from left-to-right (LTR) to right-to-left (RTL). For example:
  Consider a matrix with drill-down functionality. The rows are Student Name and Semester, while the measures are the marks obtained by the students in different subjects.
  In this matrix, when you expand the "Student Name" row, you can view their marks or check the overall performance. This works well, but the main issue is that, in the case of Arabic language users, the row headers should appear on the right side of the matrix (since Arabic is RTL).
  My question is:
  How can we achieve this in the current matrix visual?
  Or is it that we cannot use the matrix visual for Arabic users because of this limitation?
