Recently, I have been using Power BI to analyze and visualize data, and I find the option to export data to Excel extremely useful. However, I have concerns regarding the security of the exported Excel files, as they contain sensitive information.
My question is whether it is possible to password-protect the exported Excel file directly from Power BI. I would like to ensure that only authorized individuals with the correct password can access the data in the Excel file.
Hi @Raj_Jain ,
There is not a way to automatically do this but you can modify the "Export to Excel" functionality to only certain people or security groups. If you get a Power Automate process I would guess that you could do it that way....I think....
