Reports from more than one PBI semantic model

Hello All

How do I create reports using multiple power bi semantic models ?

Currently , I have a PBI semantic model from Oracle .
Have bunch of reports generated from the above semantic model .

Also , I have few other semantic models from MS SQL Server and Maria DB
Have few reports genrated from thse semantic models as well.

Now , the requirement is combine the reports from semantic models from Oracle , SQL Server and Maria DB
I don't want to recreate the semantic model ; instead reuse these models.

Please advise.

Hey,
the only way (afaik) to connect multiple semantic models would be Chaining. Have a look at the following link.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/transform-model/desktop-composite-models#chaining

It may not be a straight forward implementation, but it will allow you to use data from different semantic models.

Hello @zahirmohideen ,

yes you can connect to several semantic models using the following connector
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-report-lifecycle-datasets
