- Check Dataset Binding in Power BI Service.Open the existing report in Power BI Service and navigate to settings. Verify whether the report is linked to the correct dataset. If it is linked to an incorrect dataset, update it before republishing.
- Ensure Dataset and Report Ownership Match.In Power BI Service, go to the dataset and check the owner. If the dataset is owned by another user, request access or transfer ownership before republishing.
