Reports Loading Slow in app.powerbi.com

We have various reports across multiple workspaces and we are currently experiences super slow loading times.

This specifically seems to happen when its loading the "fabric" logo (in app.powerBI.com). I have the desktop version of these reports and they work almost instantly so I do not believe its the MS SQL DB calls slowing it down.

We have an embedded subscription which we use to show to our clients and the embedded version of these reports are also taking a similar ammount of time.

I found it took around 30 seconds to load a report which has about 15 rows of data, which previous to yesterday would have been almost instant.

Has anyone else had a similar experience and found a solution?

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi @Jordan_Robinson ,

There are a few possible reasons and solutions for this issue.

Maybe the location of your data source, gateway, and Power BI tenant. If they are not close to each other geographically, it can cause network latency and affect the performance of your reports.

Optimize your report: Make sure your report is optimized for performance. This includes minimizing the number of visuals on the page, reducing the amount of data being queried, and using efficient DAX formulas. You can also try using the Power BI Performance Analyzer to identify any bottlenecks in your report.

Check your network connection: Slow loading times can also be caused by a slow or unreliable network connection.
