Report performance and availability in PBI Premium cloud
We have experienced few issues where reports start perfroming very slow or not loading at all. It seems to be related to premium capacity because we can access them if we turn it off. Of course that would cut off a lot of users - so not a solution. If i look at powerbi.microsoft.com support page reports that no problem exist. So the question is - how can i get notification or alert when reports becoming slow or unresponsive? I need to know that before our users experienced the issue.
If you are using premium capacity, you could install the Premium Capacity Metrics app to gain insights into performance of your capacity
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/admin/service-admin-premium-monitor-capacity
Also, in the Power BI admin portal, in the tenant settings, you can configure the "
Receive email notifications for service outages or incidents" setting, but not sure when this gets fired offI also believe with the announcement below, there may be other things to monitor or be notified about, though it is not clear to me yet as to the specifics
