Hello,
I have a dashboard in Power BI using Premium capacity. It is connected to a Dataset and Data Flow. Now, I have both the Data Flow and the dataset updated & refreshed, however when I go into the report itself, the visuals are not refreshed with the latest data. I feel like I must be doing something wrong, but any ideas what may be causing this?
For additional context, if I go into the model section on Power BI desktop and refresh the data from there, the report update just fine. From there I can re-upload the report and it works. However I'm trying to automate that process using the Data Flow.

Hi @cbschley ,
For visuals using DirectQuery tables the visual will query to get the latest data from the data source.
For visuals using imported tables the visual will only query data already imported to the dataset on the last data refresh.
Refer to the following settings to refresh visuals:

Hey just wanted to follow-up with this for anyone who may have run into the same issue. The issue turned out to be a setting in Power Query where you have to select "Include in report refresh". Previously this wasn't ticked, so the data source was updating fine, but the visuals were not.
