Report not Refreshing

Good Morning,

Although my desktop is saying "report refresh successful" when I publish, the report and data is still reflecting yesterday's information.   No filters, etc are applied that would cause this.  This report is tied to many dashboards and copied reports - I hate to delete and republish.   Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Hi, @Allisond

The successful refresh on the desktop has nothing to do with the report on the service. You need to configure the gateway and set dataset refresh in pbi service.

For specific tutorials, please refer to the following:

Configure scheduled refresh - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

Hi @Allisond

My question is maybe to naive but are your datasource online ? I mean if one source of your dataset is an Excel file on your computer this is normal that your report can not be refreshed on Power BI Service.
In this case you have two options :
- configure a local gateway on your computer (not recommended) ;

- store your Excel file online (in a Sharepoint for instance) ;
For other cases please give more details concerning the type of your datasources.

Please if it solved your issue accept it as a solution
