Hi All,
I noticed that one report alway load as an blank page unless we restore to default filter. This is happening across different users of the report and is not because of filters/blank page when saving the report. I noticed that this seemed to happen because the BI kept the search key as the filter key in the URL when we clicked into the report.
When I'm searching the report in my workpace by key in "peo", the URL is as the following:
app.powerbi.com/groups/~~workspaceID~~/list/reports?q=peo
This is URL once I clicked into the report from search and landing with an blank page, noticed we still have the ?q=peo in there?
app.powerbi.com/groups/~~workspaceID~~/reports/~~ReprotID~~?q=peo
This is what I got after restore to default and be able to see the content:
app.powerbi.com/groups/~~workspaceID/reports/~~reportID~~/ReportSectionb7cde31944709c755d24
So, how should I fix it? Thank you 🙂
Hi @Anonymous ,
Based on my test, it works fine on my side, the q="" will be deleted after click the report in search list, Could you please try to reproduce with other kind of browser? Does this issue exist in other report?
Best regards,
Hi Dong Li,
Thanks for taking time looking into my qusetion.
Same issue occurs while using IE, but it seemed to be report specific across different users.
This report was working till last Wednesday or so and but not anymore.
Thanks again.
Regards,
Anna
Hi @Anonymous ,
Does this report contain any custom visual or special datasource? Have you tried to reproduce after publish it into another workspace?
Best regards,
Hi Dong Li,
It probably have some customer visuals but they are the same visual we had before this issue occurs.
I tried to upload the report to a different workspace and it was OK, the URL changed automatically as it should be.
What do you suggest me to do? I would perfer not to delete the report and republish if it is possible as it is estabilished report and is pinned to many dashboards.
Thanks and best regards,
Anna
Hi @Anonymous ,
Sorry for that, but we did not found an effective solution to solve this issue without republish it, We suggest you to open a ticket here for help if you are a pro user: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/
Best regards,
Thanks, it fixed itself. 😛 Thanks for your help.
