I'm sorry, I have no solution for you :(. 

 

Maybe this can be a learning moment for you and your org to help you get the support you need for a proper backup solution like Azure DevOps or GitHub?

Hi benjaminwalters,

Currently, there is no way to recover the deleted dataset. Going forward, please ensure datasets are maintained in Git for backup purposes. If you believe a backup feature is essential, kindly submit this suggestion in the ideas forum.
