Report background turns grey after publishing

Hi all,

Today, I meet a strange case after sharing a report from PBI Service.  A date slicer on the top of a report become 2 styles when sharing to 3 persons in the same domain.  They are all using Chrome browser.

Two of them see it the same (option list) as my original copy.

while one of them see it in a different style (scroll bar).

I have tried enlarge and shrink the size of the slicer and re-publish and refresh screen but that one seeing scrollbar still see the same.

There is no error or warning when editing in PBI Desktop.  Which direction should I solve it for?

    Hi Anonymous,

Could you please test the three ways as below and tell me the result. If the issue still occur, kindly share the pbix to me.

    1. Save the report as pbix and open it in power BI desktop to check the slicer again.

    2. Clean the cache and refresh the report to check again.

    3. Delete the dataset and republish the report to check the issue.

    Regards,

    Frank

      Hi Frank,

Sorry for late reply.  I've been very busy these month.

I have tested all 3 methods you suggested.  However, the problem keeps appearing on that user's pbi service screen only.

All other users did not have the problem.   Moreover, It happens on that report only and he did not rely heavily on it.

Therefore, let's leave it until future status change.

      Thanks

      James
