Hello,
We noticed that our report usage metrics are not displaying the users that accessed reports through MS Teams. This is a very big deal for us. We wanted even to prevent users from using PwBi on MS Teams but there is no way to disable PwBi app. Not that I know.
Has anyone found any solution or alternative for that ???
We are using old workspace and individual reports (not apps).
Thank you all.
Actually, I just noticed it this morning..
Did you check out the limitation section in the documentation?
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-usage-metrics
Refer to these post as well.

If this helps, mark it as a solution
Kudos are nice too.
@VasTg Thank you for your answer.
Yes, I've seen both documentation and threads. I was reluctant to believe no workaround was posted in so many old threads I found.
I understand the documentation states that Embedded reports would not feedback the metrics but I didn't think this would be applicable even on MS Teams. Although it makes sense they are just embedding reports, it is very unfortunate for us don't be able to prevent users from doing it themselves.
If we were using any other web service to host reports, I would naturally rely on alternative analytics, but, what do I suppose to do with MS Teams if I can neither remove the PwBi APP nor have alternative analytics telling me the usage ??
I have seen people saying they were not able to remove PwBi & Sharepoint Apps from MS Teams. I don't know what to do here, so, Suggestions are welcome!
Regards,
