Report Usage Metrics Report - for Teams?

Hi ladies and gents,

 

In the app, we have this beautiful Report Usage Metrics report, which shows which users have accessed our reports. 

 

However, the trend in my company is to have these reports available in Teams (separate Power BI tab - awesome idea, btw). 

 

I wonder if there is any way to display which users have seen the report in Teams.

    Hi AliceW,

    Report Usage Metrics Report cannot be directly shared with others. As a workaround, you could use Save as to convert the usage metrics report to a full-featured Power BI report that can be customized and shared.

     

    I wonder if there is any way to display which users have seen the report in Teams. 

     

    Report Usage Metrics Report is a pre-build report. that cannot be customized. I'm afraid such a requirement cannot be achieved now.

    v-yulgu-msft  are you saying we won't be able to track the users using PwBi reports on MS Teams? If that so, Microsoft must allow us to remove PwBi app from MS Teams. 

    The usage metrics are a big deal for us and we need to be able to analyze it. MS Teams users are not displayed in the usage metrics and apparently we are not able to prevent them from using PwBi reports there.

    We need a workaround. Any suggestions?
