Report Failing to Refresh after Publishing
Hi all
Apologies as I know these questions arise often but similar solved questions don't seem to provide a fix
I have an excel as my dataset saved within SharePoint online. I have built the report within Desktop and it refreshes no problem. I have then published the report to Power BI Service and the data does not refresh in the report when the SharePoint excel file is changed.
I have not scheduled a refresh I am just doing it manually at the moment within the report in Power BI service.
This is probably down to user error as I've read that data might not refresh in the service upon changes to the dataset for a period of time but any additional help would be appreciated if there's something I might have missed.

Hi there
The reason it is not updating because you will need to create a connection in the Power BI Gateway to connect to the data source you have in your Power BI Desktop file.
