Report Corrupted
Hii Abhikadmawala
when you delete a report, keep the dataset, and then rebind an older report, the internal PBIX download linkage breaks even though the dataset still exists. That’s why the semantic model appears blank and the report cannot be downloaded, but your data is not actually lost. The only reliable recovery is to connect to the existing dataset from Power BI Desktop (Get Data >> Power BI Dataset) and rebuild the report; downloading the original PBIX is not possible once this linkage is broken.

Power BI may no longer be able to generate a downloadable PBIX, especially when service-side changes or Premium features are involved. I would recommend you to download your model with an external tool tile Tabular Editor and download the report pbip from OneLake Explorer. Then combine files in destop.
To avoid these kind of struggles I would prefer always keep working in desktop.
Hi abhijsrwaaa
If you upload a new report and re-link it, the URL will change.
For this reason, I recommend using Apps to distribute your reports, then it doesn't matter if the report URL changes because the App URL will not change, and you can just re-map the new report to the same audience in the app.

The app URL has a report id field. Won't that be changed?
Also, my report has parametrised URLs and some users might have saved bookmarks from the app. How will that be impacted?
