Have inherited a setup where images are used as icons for indicators within the Report Builder reports.
Unfortunately the subreport call properties sizing will not resize the called image. This is regardless of the Size (Width, Height) of the subreport properties. The screenshot below shows my test of both overly large and small subreport placeholders and the run result.
The obvious answer is to use the unichar() function from a common base table. Unfortunately the previous developers have left a mess of three methods throughout the pbi code base: subreport call, embedded image calls and some unichar().
Nonetheless, Report Builder should auto resize according to the size of the calling placeholder. So another bug to fix for m$.

Thanks for your reply and interest @v-henryk-mstf but no one has voted (including yourself 🙂 and now 60+ views!)
I do not hold much 'hope' as m$ is a marketing company moreso than a tech company.
Hi @garythomannCoGC ,
Thank you very much for your feedback.😊
There does seem to be such an error. I hope more people will vote and that this feature will be fixed in the next update.
Best Regards,
Henry
