I'm wondering if we are able to set up automation of multiple PowerBI reports based on whether a specific report was refreshed?
We have multiple reports that are mainly built off of the same data sources. There is one report that is the main reporting hub for our org, however there is a lot of manual validation that is done to ensure we are reporting the correct data. Once we see that this report has been refreshed, we know that we can then go ahead and run the refresh for all of our other reports so the data is all aligned.
Is there anything we can set up where if Report A has completed its refresh on PowerBI Service, then Reports B, C, & D are automatically triggered for refresh? We'll be developing a large amount of reports that will run on the same cadence so would be great to have them run automatically.
I'm not too familiar with options like Power Automate and Dataflows within PowerBI service but from what I saw these are mainly run against datasets and not the actual reports. Is this type of workflow possible?

Reports don't refresh. Semantic models refresh.
You have to implement your own progress checker for example via Power Automate and a custom connector
You will also want to check the refresh result and then only proceed if it was successful etc.
