Reports leveraging an SSAS Tabular model were published prior to a gateway being installed and the reports published with a dataset the same as the report name. The gateway has been installed and I would like to have these published reports levarage the Gateway version of the data source (the same data source they are using - only leveraging the gateway). I'd like to remove the datasources that are not the 'official' gateway data source. Any help on this?
Hi @DerekTrujillo ,
Did you mean you want to remove the data source that is not related to the dataset? As I know, currently we cannot find the related data source like report that we can find related dataset in Power BI service. We can find the source in dataset page as below.
Maybe I'm just not understanding the purpose of a 'dataset' vs. data source. I guess all of my reports use the same data source, but publish their own data set as part of the publishing process, but will maintain the data source as a data set if a report is created from scratch from the Power BI Service. Is my understanding correct on this point?
