Renaming Power BI Gateway

When I installed the gateway I mis-spelt the name. I fixed the name in the Service, but I can't find a way to fix it on the gateway machine itself. 

 

Anyone know where I need to look?

    dramus,

    What you have done is enough. The gateway name can only be changed in Power BI Service, there is no place to change gateway name on the gateway machine itself.

      Hi Lydia,

       

      If my mis-spelling didn't keep showing up on the machine that I installed it on. I'd agree. :smileyvery-happy:

       

      But  this is an ongoing issue for us, as the name in the Service doesn't match the name of the gateway on the server.

       

      I know I can delete and re-install the gateway to get around it, but then I would need to re-add all the datasources back into the gateway and setup all the refreshes again.

        Could you please post a screenshot about the gateway name in your machine and in Service?
