I tried renaming a dataflow by updating the properties and it does not work.
This used to work before.
But I just tried it Friday last week and today and it is still not working.
Can someone look into this?
Thanks.

hey All, just posting my experience here today - renaming a dataflow doesn't work. I followed the same steps in the screenshot of this post.
seeing as it's my first attempt at a serious power bi dataflow, and that it's been an issue for over a year, it doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in me.
i spent an hour on this issue, and tried renaming the dataflow 20-odd times. (and what a waste of my time it was.)
Encountering the same issue. This is pretty poor given this issue appears to have been around a very long time, I've seen posts from 2019 on this.
We have a couple of hundred dataflows to rename to adhere to a new naming convention. Obviously not practical to delete and re-create these simply to solve what should be a mundane modification such as applying a new name.
Is there anything further available by way of a solution to this?
I deleted the dataflow, and re-created it from scratch (I think importing that would have worked too, as long as you rename it by editing the dataflow name contained inside of the json file)
It seems to have worked. More importantly, things like saving/refreshing/get data/applying (and copying queries between power bi desktop and dataflows, both ways) all appear to be working fine
