Remove Share Button (Social shares) from embed using Publish to Web in SharePoint

Anyone know how to YET remove the Share button on the embed when using Publish to Web embed on a SharePoint Page?

Before you ask, we are GCC so the Power BI web parts do not work in SharePoint yet so our only option is to create a Publish to Web and use the embed web part.  But from there people can publish to Twitter, Facebook, etc.  Bad idea Microsoft.  (Not everyone in the world wants to have connections to social)

Anyway, Ideas?

Side note FYI: Below is what happens in GCC when you use the Power BI webpart with the a SharePoint online link generated from the report.  Neither the "Page" nor the "Display" drop down populate.  Been around and around with Microsoft.

Hi, @v-zhangti!
Is there a way to hide the sharing icons from a report embedded in a client portal using the Embed report > Website or portal option?

The client doesn’t want those icons showing up.
Thanks a lot!

Hi, @TomRobbins

To remove the Share button on the embed when using Publish to Web embed on a SharePoint Page, you can use the following steps:

  1. Open the report in Power BI service.
  2. Click on the File menu and select Embed report.
  3. In the Embed dialog box, select the Options tab.
  4. Under Access, select Specific people.
  5. Enter the email addresses of the people who should have access to the report.
  6. Under Permissions, select View.
  7. Click on the Create button to generate the embed code.
  8. Copy the embed code and paste it into the SharePoint page.

This will restrict access to the report and remove the Share button from the embed.
