Remove Scroll Bar from Page Navigator
Hi there, looking to see why there all of a sudden is a scroll bar at the bottom of my page navigators?
Everything fits and there's nothing I can seem to find to remove it?
Any suggestions?
Hello everyone,
On my side, this issue only appears when using Mozilla browser. Seems to work fine on Chrome and Edge, so it seems just a browser issue.
Please check this.

Thank you for the response and confirming that this issue is only impacting Mozilla Firefox. Since the team is working on the fix, please use use Edge or Chrome untill the fix gets rolled out.

Interesting catch. I'm also on Firefox which displayed the issue, but the bars are gone when I used Edge.

Hi AWE ,
This is related with the size of the shapes buttons inside of the visual you can do a couple of things:
- Increase the with of the visual just by a few pixels (fastest one)
- Change the padding of the total visual making it go wider inside the visal frame
- Decrease the padding between the buttons also by just a few pixels
Believe this are the 3 best options but this also depends on the rest of the settings you have for the page navigation.

Hi there, none of these three options seem to be working unfortunately, even when putting all padding values down to 0px.
It has only shown up in the past week weirdly.

Hi ,
I have made several test but was not able to reproduce the scroll bar al the button show but get adjusted to the size of the visual.
Try the following:
- Copy the visual (so you dont loose that formatting)
- Reset all the visual setting
Updating MediaCheck if the scroll bar dissapears then redo the formatting.

Bump - same issue for me. The scroll bar randomly appeared this week in Service only. Desktop looks normal without the scroll bar. Changing font sizes and card sizes didn't fix it.

Hello,
Same issue on my side. Only in Service, entire dashboards stack has now the same issue, with sudden horizontal scroll bars on every card, slicer and page navigator. As described by everyone, nothing works, neither size formatting or settings changes. All of this just since the weekend.- catherinewhiteFrequent Visitor
FYI, I was able to get the scrollbars to disappear from card visuals by changing the Overflor to Page Horizontal and then adjusting the width of the card. Nothing I've tried so far is fixing the navigator however.

this is a problem identified specifically in Mozilla that MSFT is working activly to solve.

Hi AWE,
Thanks everyone for the details and for confirming this across multiple tenants. Looks like this started suddenly this week and it only happens in the service and it affects page navigators, cards and slicers. This is not a problem with your report design, this looks like a service side issue.
Since nothing on the report side resolves it, I recommend the affected user's please raise a Microsoft support ticket so it can be investigated and tracked as a service side issue.

Hi AWE
Wasnt able to recreate this scenario even if you build frok scratch do you face the same issue?

Hi AWE
This usually happens when the total width of the buttons + spacing is slightly more than the Page Navigator visual width.
Try this:
1. Select the Page Navigator visual and increase its width a little
2. Or go to Format > Page navigation > Button > Spacing and reduce the spacing between buttons
3. Also check Format > Page navigation > Button > Text and turn "Text wrapping" OFFThat should remove the scroll bar.
Let me know this is working or not !
Thanks !

Unfortunately, none of these seem to solve the problem, thank you though!

Hi AWE
The scroll bar appears when the total width of buttons + spacing is even 1px more than the Page Navigator container.
Since reducing spacing didn't work, try this guaranteed fix:
Solution: Enable Button Wrapping
1. Click on the Page Navigator visual
2. Go to Format pane > Page navigation > Container
3. Turn ON `Wrap buttons`This will move extra buttons to the next line instead of showing a scroll bar.
Alternative if you want all buttons in 1 line:
1. Format > Page navigation > Button > Size: Reduce `Button width` to 110
2. Format > Page navigation > Button > Spacing: Set `Spacing` to 2-4
3. Format > Page navigation > Button > Text: Set `Font size` to 10Note: "Service Provider Supplier Chques" is a long text. Reducing font/width will help it fit.
Let me know if the `Wrap buttons` option solved it for you.
