Refreshing few data sources from multiple ones

Suppose i have power bi report with 5 data sources(one is oracle and others are excel).I published it in power bi site.

Now i want to refresh only the oracle one from gateway, so i enter the credentials for oracle.

Now i don't want to refresh the excel ones.So i don't enter the credentials for excels.

So overally i want to refresh only oracle data source and don't want to refresh excel ones. So is this possible.

Every time i m doing this its give me the error.

    If you don't add the credentials for all sources it will fail. You can try to disable refresh for the excel queries/data sources.

    Right click the Query in query editor -> Properties & then unselect enable Refresh. 

     

    Haven't tried how it works in PowerBI service when you upload the file but with a try & error it can work ( upload it again, new import etc )

    sumodjena Can you post what error you are getting? Also have you setup Power BI Personal Gateway for data refresh ? 

    Also Power BI Personal Gateway should be online when scheduling for refresh.
