Hello!
I need help refreshing a dataset that links to an excel file in my network.
I have PowerBI Gateway PersonalMode installed.
I have this pbix file that I designed in PowerBI Desktop, got some data from SQL Server, and then got some data from an Excel file that is in the network. Up to this point everything runs fine, the report refreshes and display what I need.
The problem is, when I upload it to the app.powerbi.com and try to refresh it, it shows an error.
But others datasets (reports) I have, with only SQL queries, refreshes without error. It is only with this that queries data from the Excel file.
It says about the credentials being wrong. But the file doesn't have the need for credentials for accessing it.
I work with Powerbi for some months now, but have worked only with SQL queries. It is my first time importing excel data into powerbi, so I don't know what is wrong.
How do I fix this?
Thanks in advance!

Ok, I got this to work.
The network admin told me it was the server user's privileges.
Just refreshed the dataset after opening the file by entering valid admin credentials and it worked.
Thanks.
