Refresh using a Button at Report Level

I wanted to know if Power Query refresh (for R/Python script) is possible using button from Report level. Also can Dynamic parameters be consumed in Python Script to filter the data selected at Report level.

Can anyone please help me with this?

Thanks in Advance !!

Yes, Inserting a Button Visual in PBI, then setting an URL Action to this button, and this URL can be something outside in Power Automate.

    Hi Anonymous ,

Sorry for that it is not supported to implement as you required in Power BI currently.

You can post your new idea in Idea Forum , to improve the Power BI.

hi Anonymous There is a Power Automate Flow, to refresh a Dataset. You can configure this as Instant or trigger it via any of the actions listed on there. You could then assign this flow to the Button in the Report.

    Hope this helps

      Hey.. Thanks for the response!

The requirement is to only refresh the dataset containing  R/Python script on click of a button. The solution you provided will refresh the entire dataset which is time consuming.

Could you please share some thoughts here!
