Hello,
I have a refresh problem of dataset in Power BI service after merging different sources.
Knowing that one source is from On-premise sharepoint and the other is from Cloud Sharepoint
I tried to solve this problem by checking the option "Allow user's cloud data sources to refresh through this gateway cluster" in Gateway as mentioned in Merge or append on-premises and cloud data sources - Power BI | Microsoft Learn.
However, schedule refresh hasn't still worked
You can see the message error as follows:

Expecting that you can share/ give me some suggestions/solution to this problem.
Thanks in advance to you all
Hi @tpham ,
The error message suggests that there is an issue with the connection to the cloud SharePoint data source.
You may also want to try refreshing the data manually to see if the issue persists. If it does, please provide more details.

Thanks for your reply,
Regarding the credentials for the cloud SharePoint, It is valide and works well if data is merged with on-premise sharepoint. the hypothesis is irgnored
The gateway is not configured properly or is outdated=> If this hypothesis is correct, I don't undersand why it work well when I don't merge the on-premise data with cloud data ?
I checked the option " Allow user's cloud data sources to refresh through this gateway cluster" in gateway as this photo below (sorry this photo in french). But the data refresh doesn't work in Power BI Service ( but it works well in Power BI Desktop).
Do you have the same case in your project ?
Thanks in advance for your suggestion
Hi @tpham
It appears to me that the On-Premise SharePoint cannot be connected from the Gateway server. I would log into the gateway server and make sure you can succesfully connect?
Thanks for you reply but I don't think so, the gateway of on-premise sharepoint is created.
This problem has only appeared when merging On-premise sharepoint data with Cloud sharepoint data.
