Refresh not working via browser

If you can go into those reports, click on the Model view.
Then click on the table and under advanced make sure the storage mode is set to DirectQuery

I checked the option and found that both DirectQuery and Dual options were inactive.
even though the Connectivity Mode on query editor says it's using DirectQuery.
I looked for something based on your answer and found this this post. I think this answer my question.
But raise another one, is Microsoft going to change this at some point or it will be leave like that?

This is something that you will have to change it in your dataset to get it updated.
It can be tricky to get it working.
