Hello everybody!
We had some reports with Import Mode. But we needed to migrate the data to another database. After migration, we chose to change the conectivity method of these reports to DirectQuery. Most reports are working well, but we have an issue with few reports: they do not refresh data via browser, only refresh through Desktop App and re-publishing them.
Are there any other solution to this issue?
@angelicalopes
What do you mean by change the connectivity to DQ mode? Did you reconnect to the Database after you migrate the data into that database?
Generally if your model includes Import and DQ connection, it automatically changes to Import Mode only. Please Clarify.

@V-pazhen-msftthanks for the reply!
I made the connection to the new database without problems. After that, we change every connectivity to DQ so it shouldn't have any Import connection on our model, but it is still showing as Import as show in Advanced Options on my last post.
Hi there
If you can go into those reports, click on the Model view.
Then click on the table and under advanced make sure the storage mode is set to DirectQuery
@GilbertQThanks for the reply!!
I checked the option and found that both DirectQuery and Dual options were inactive.
even though the Connectivity Mode on query editor says it's using DirectQuery.
I looked for something based on your answer and found this this post. I think this answer my question.
But raise another one, is Microsoft going to change this at some point or it will be leave like that?
Thanks again!!
