Refresh in Service error : Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel
Hello !
I found many topics close to my issue but I don't understand the solutions or maybe it doesn't apply to my case.
My report is refreshing well in Power Query editor and also in the PBI Desktop app, but once published in the service refresh is not working anymore because of this error :
In this report I have a query that follow this logic :
Step 1 : Get data from an Excel file on a files server
Step 2 : Get data from a web API
Step 3 : Append Step 1 and Step 2
In an other report I do the same thing with an Excel file stored on Sharepoint instead of files server and it's working fine in Service.
So I guess the issue is coming from the On-Premises Gateway which connect the files server to the Service but then I don't understand how to fix the problem.
If someone knows the answer and can explain the solution I'd be glad to read from you 🙂
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Cado

Hi Anonymous
None of these solutions works for me. So I moved my datasources from server files to Sharepoint so I don't need the on-premises gateway anymore and it's working now.
I think Power BI doesn't like when mixing local files with web API in a single query.
Thank you for your time and have a good day,
Cado

Hi Anonymous ,
You can try the following:
Clear the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) state. To do this, follow these steps:
- In Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
- Click the Content tab, and then click Clear SSL state.
Here is the URL of the relevant content, hope it can help you
