The refresh history for one of my datasets is suddenly empty for some reason. This dataset has been in use for a while and occassionally experiences refresh errors, but the most recent scheduled refreshes have been successful (as can be seen in the report that uses the data). The summary dialog also indicates that the last refresh occurred with the last 4 hours, but the dialog that pops up when I click on "Refresh history" is completely empty? Anyone else experiencing this?

I would suggest you reinstall the Gateway to test again.It is still reproduces,you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".

Thanks, but I don't use a Gateway. However, the history started populating again as of Sunday.
