Refresh form Data source in secure server
- 1 year ago
Hi Elmo22,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Forum Community.
As suggested by BhavinVyas3003, use the On-premises data gateway to connect your secure servers to the Power BI Service. Use the Standard (Enterprise) gateway rather than the personal gateway, as the standard version.
As it supports multiple data sources and is used by organizations.
Also, check and configure valid credentials with appropriate access to the database.Below is the Microsoft link for your reference:

Hi Elmo22 ,
For Power BI Service accessing secure servers, deploy an On-Premises Data Gateway within your local network or VPN to securely connect to your databases, then configure your datasets in the Power BI Service to use this gateway for scheduled refreshes. Ensure the gateway is always online with correct credentials, and set up scheduled refresh in the Power BI Service to enable automatic updates of your reports using data from those secure sources.
