Refresh failed for SAP HANA datasource

hi there,

i have a sap hana datasource added to gateway which is installed on azure server. But when we refresh the dataset i get the below error.

"comunication link failure: 10709 connection failed (RTE:300012) Cannot create SSL engine. The certificate chain was issued by an authority not trusted."

Any suggestions?

I am using SAP Hana as a Datasource in one of my power bi report and dataset getting a refresh with my desktop report without any issues, but the same report is getting fails with the below error in power bi service when its refreshed through power BI gateway.
but it's not happening all the time, sometimes its get success automatically.

ODBC: ERROR [S1000] [SAP AG][LIBODBCHDB DLL][HDBODBC] General error;7 feature not supported: invalid character encoding: '

I am not sure what is the cause of the issue, Please help me on this.

HI @Anonymous,

It seems more related to SSL credentials issue. Have you install valid credentials on both service(datasource server) and client(device which installed gateway) side?

If not, I'd like to suggest you take a look at following links about configure credentials:

In addition, please double check your credentials to confirm if they are invalid.
