Refresh failed: Data Source has failed to refresh. Failure details: The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error. This is usually a transient issue. If you try again later and still see this message, contact support. Not a legal OleAut date.. The exception was raised by the IDataReader interface. Table: Active_patients.
Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for the email notification, and I'm grateful for the indication of the reason for the error. But is it really because there's a date range before 1/1/1900? Or is there another possible reason?
If Power BI Service cannot handle dates prior to 1900, shouldn't this flag as an error during the Power BI Desktop report-building process? Especially because this is an Azure SQL Database source, so I am forced to use Power BI Desktop to build the report before setting it up for Scheduled Refresh.

Here is the error.
I can confirm that there were multiple dates prior to 1900 and one date with the year 2900 in the dataset.
