Refresh error in service only when dataset has both gateway and google sheet connections

Hello - 

I have a desktop report that is connected to both google sheet data (using the new Google sheets (beta) connector) and excel/sql data accessed through a gateway connection.

I am able to successfully refresh this report in the desktop software, however this same report published to the PowerBI service fails to refresh.

The error in the service looks like this:

Data source error:

COM error: Microsoft.PowerBI.AS.ConnectionDetailsProvider, Refreshing cloud & onprem datasources, but the gateway doesn't allow cloud datasource refresh..

Is there a setting I can change either on the report level or gateway level in order to refresh this report in the service successfully?

If you can go into the Gateway settings and make sure the following is selected as shown below for Cloud Data Sources

This worked, but I had to ask our IT dept to make it happen. This was an Admin only setting, which I could not access through my personal account.
