Refresh error - detailed debug info

Anonymous I am using a gateway. Backend is SQL server, PBI desktop refreshes without error, normally that also breaks and since it provides a much more meaningful error message, easier to debug.
sanimesa I would make sure you are on the latest gateway first, then if the issue still persists (or you already are) - see if you can find a more specific error in the log files of the gateway. On the server that the gateway is installed on you can find the gateway files here -> C:\Users\PBIEgwService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\On-premises Data Gateway\Gateway*.log
