Hi nmichalesko,
1. Did you refresh successfully under these conditions before?
2. What kind of datasets do you want to refresh?
3. Did you upgrade the gateway to the latest On-premises data gateway (personal mode)?
4. What is the stutas of the gateway in the Power BI Service? And the credentials?
Best Regards!

- Yes, I did for two days last week on my desktop and then I started getting the error. The error continued when I tried to switch the gateway to the windows server.
- I'm refreshing MySQL databases with custom queries.
- Yes, this is a fresh intall of the data gateway.
- On the service under settings it says "online" in green and the box I am running it on. Credentials are all good as well.

Hi nmichalesko,
I tested a lot. I can't reproduce your issue.
1. I would suggest installing a On-premises Data Gateway instead of the On-premises Data Gateway (Personal mode).
2. Check the custom queries. Many modeling steps can be done in the Query Editor. Try to delete these custom queries.
