Hi JorisVoorn ,

For Analyze in Excel and Power BI publisher for Excel, they are both live connection with Power BI Dataset. That means, whenever we open the Excel file, the data is up-to-date. If just want to refresh while opening, we need to click Refresh button.  For more details, please reference the blogs.

    Hi,

     

    Thank you for answer, but the point is I would like to avoid necessity to open a file and wait until Excel refresh data from Analyze in Excel connection. 

     

    I want to create scheduled refresh of excel that will run the refresh while stored on Sharepoint and when user opens the file, it will be already refreshed.
