Refresh Disabled due to credentials

Hello all,

Our team has a report that utilizes two data sources. One on a fileshare connected to the PBI service via an enterprise gateway and another on sharepoint which exsists as a sharepoint list. We keep losing our credentials for the one on sharepoint. We've seen other posts with this very issue but no definitive answer other than reinstating credentials. Has anyone experienced this phenomenon and know of root cause and eventual corrective action.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Hi @puffenstuffs

Scheduled refresh should refresh automatically without editing credentials all the time, but you need to set the credentials manually everytime.

As I known, this problem occurs to some other customers and MS are discussing how to fix it.

Anyway, first please check if you select OAuth2 not anymous.

if it does no help, you could open a ticket to get closer analysis for your scenario.

Best Regards

maggie

Is the Sharepoint also on premise? There is an option to add Sharepoint as a datasource via gateway.

We use Sharepoint online and have not had issues combining this with other datasources. We did create a system user account for the credentials for this datasource.
